Nicola and Kimberley attended Naomi Campbell’s Fashion For Relief Haiti Show in London today (18.2.10)

Nicola and Kimberley were at the Brit Awards last night supporting fellow band mate and friend Cheryl Cole as she did her first solo performance on the Brits. They didn’t walk the red carpet so we couldn’t get any pictures of that but I have found some MQ images of them inside the Brit Awards cheering on Cheryl as she performs and of Kim and Nicola arriving at the Universal After Party. So far I have only 6 images but as when I find more I shall put them all in the following folder on our Gallery:

Last night Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts were on the ITV show BRITs Hits 30 because their performance of The Promise is nominated for an award at the Brits for being one of the best in the BRITs History!

EXCLUSIVE: Girls Aloud hope to record album next summer

Kimberley Walsh has revealed that Girls Aloud are hoping to record their next album in the summer.

The members of the Brit Award-winning girlband are currently working on solo projects, but Walsh explained that Brian Higgins, the group’s songwriter/producer, will already be crafting the follow-up to last year’s Out Of Control LP.

“He’ll be writing already. He’ll have carried on writing even just when we finished the last album, so hopefully we’ll get in the studio next year – summer, hopefully,” Walsh told DS.

However, she admitted that the group have made no firm plans regarding the recording and release of the album.

“We’ve never ever planned in terms of months or weeks. It’s always a rush but that’s part of the madness that actually helps us somehow,” she said.

“Maybe it’s the pressure? Once we say, ‘Right, we’re going to come in and do an album’, creatively [Brian] will be like ‘Right right right!’ I think sometimes that works better. We fly by the seat of our pants. We do everything last minute but it works.”

Walsh also confirmed that she has no plans to record any solo material, despite covering ‘Rainy Days and Mondays’ for ITV1’s upcoming Carpenters special.

“It was nice to sing something that suited my voice a little bit more. Obviously the stuff we do in Girls Aloud is different. I enjoyed it for what it was, but I’m not looking to do anything on my own at the moment,” she said.
