Strictly Come Dancing: Nicola Roberts Surprises Kimberley Walsh At Rehearsals

Kimberley Walsh gained support from her fellow band mate, Nicola Roberts, with a surprise visit to her and Pasha’s rehearsal for Strictly Come Dancing tonight.

Ten years after her audition on Popstars The Rivals Kimberley has sold albums, been on world tours as one fifth of Girls Aloud and even climbed Mount Kilimanjaro but now she is faced with a brand new challenge – competing in Strictly Come Dancing.

During a busy rehearsal, as she was learning tonight’s routine, Kimberley was shocked as fellow Girls Aloud member Nicola Roberts stepped into the rehearsal room to say hello and watch them practice. The two of them shared a huge hug before Nicola sat and watched their routine. Nicola said how she was definitely going to watch Kimberley tonight to show her support and that she knew that ‘everyone is just going to love her’.

Nicola wasn’t wrong! With a standing ovation from the audience and sevens across the board, Kimberley danced extremely well and showed a lot of potential for the competition. Dancing to the energetic Jessie J hit, ‘Domino’, Kimberley and Pasha shone on the stage and showed a lot of talent as a couple. With lots of positive comments, even from Craig who is often quite strict with his feedback.

This is brilliant news for her partner, Pasha, who is striving to win after coming second last year. Hopefully Kimberley can help him achieve his dream and win that sparkly trophy that everyone so craves!
